Lately I've been wanting a cat (or 2) but can't commit, nor afford for that matter, the responsibility. So I think a good 2nd best is a plant, they too require love and warmth and attention to grow :). After mourning the death of my Lucky Bamboo (don't ask) and a little inspiration, I'm ready to get some plants!

Another option and equally as beautiful an idea would be to fill the vase up with water, twigs and a tea light candle on top! I'm definitely going to try these at the next opportunity. I'm visualizing now the placement: bathroom near shower or around the tub, coffee table decor, window accents, they would even add and organic compliment to a bookshelf! I'm in love and will update when the deed is done. ❤
